Radio stations

So earlier on jnf a swedish bugger and I were chatting about my new favourite band.LORDI, these okes went and won the Eurovision song contest,I think it was about a month ago...

Now apparently all the radio is playing is Lordi's winning song.Even though they have a couple of better songs.People have it as a ring tone,are whistling it,and its getting stuck in poor old Mostlikely harmless's head.Shame.

Why is it that radios seem to play the same kak over and over, Highveld stereo is world famous for doing this.They will play the same song almost every hour and a half.What happend to variety?Has that gone out the window?Do the dj's not have a list of songs that they can and cant play?Why not?

Im pretty sure that dj's know that they are killing a band by just playing one song over and over.They are making us so sick of britney,christina and so forth(not that we werent already) but you get the idea.. Radio stations should try and give us a break or three.Play more than on genre, by that i dont mean play classic rock,then hard rock,then trance then rave,then ... then... get back the old style guys.The barney's darrens and so forth,Come on.These okes must still be willing to pull back 5fm and highveld.At night kill us with METAL, during the morning get a chill dj to sort of wake us up.Afternoons get the traffic flowing with some jokes and a lively dj.

It cant be that hard.The best we had was gillman in the morning,There is no bladdy way you could sleep with that oke on the radio.Love him or hate him,he will be missed on 5fm.
